Summary: Firefighter David Castro died of traumatic injuries suffered when his water tanker truck overturned on the Quincy–Oroville Highway along the Feather River while en route to the Danny Fire, Plumas National Forest, CA on August 19, 1994.
The "Quincy-Oroville Highway" runs through the treacherous Feather River Canyon.
